Small Business Evaluation and Entrepreneur's (SBEE) Program

This unique program capitalizes on the strength of Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management by partnering scientists and engineers with second-year MBA students. Under the direction of Kellogg professor and SBEE program director Barry Merkin, each MBA team researches, evaluates, and helps develop business plans for presentation to potential investors. While providing real-world experience to Kellogg students, the SBEE program helps researchers successfully commercialize their ideas. Sixteen start-up companies have been launched based upon technologies developed at the Center since 2001.

Researchers with ready-to-launch technologies who would like to participate in this program and companies interested in attending upcoming meetings should contact Rebecca McNaughton.
